We are a Blackpool based charity supporting families with children who have disabilities and/or special educational needs across the Fylde Coast. Children do not have to have a diagnosis in order to access our services.
Our Centre on Church Street in Blackpool allows us to provide a range of fantastic facilities including a soft play area, interactive ball pool, sensory spaces and a beautiful suite of counselling rooms. Our team are based at the Centre which is a hub of support for families.
Our Centre is a great venue for activities, providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere for children to grow and develop. We also deliver regular family activities, Drop-In Information and Advice sessions, and a programme of workshops for parents to come together to learn and form peer support networks.
Every year we welcome more families with children who have disabilities and/or special educational needs through our doors. Aiming Higher is a place where special bonds and friendships are formed, and our activities allow children with different levels of need the chance to enjoy life as it should be enjoyed – like everyone else.
